In my 2nd edition, on page 1391, under the word “statesman”, please make the following improvement: cut and paste a picture of Arkansas’ former United States Senator, Dale Bumpers. For the text, just insert, in its entirety, his testimony of 1-21-99 to those yahoos currently in the United States Senate. Thank you. Jo Ann Nash, 11300 Tanya Trail, Austin, TX 78726

In our early years of marriage, like many young couples, we could only afford the paperback edition. Last year on the day of our wedding anniversary, my ever so thoughtful Doris presented me with this deluxe, leather bound edition! I wept with joy and thought only in America, only in America!

I enjoyed the real down to earth definitions of many words. One fatal flaw I found with this dicitonary was that many common words were mispelled such as CAT and COMPUTER. Overall this a valuable resource for many!
